Rick Peña is the founding principal of Prime Group Management, a boutique owner’s representation firm specializing in the delivery of ultra-luxury, generational homes throughout South Florida. With over 25 years of experience and a portfolio exceeding $1 billion in residential and commercial projects, Rick is a trusted advisor to discerning clients who value rigor, discretion, and commitment—especially when projects face complex or challenging conditions.
Rick launched Prime Group Management in 2009, bringing together a handpicked team of senior professionals with decades of experience and long-standing working relationships. Under his leadership, PGM has delivered 15 landmark homes totaling more than 230,000 square feet and $600 million, with another 100,000 square feet and $361 million currently in progress. His projects are distinguished by their architectural integrity, scale, and tailored execution.
Educated in architecture at Georgia Tech and holding an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Miami, Rick combines technical fluency with financial discipline. His background includes leadership roles with global construction firms and premier luxury developers, where he managed the delivery of complex high-rises and bespoke estates.

Matt Johnson – Senior Project Manager

Matt Johnson is a licensed Certified Building Contractor in the State of Florida (CBC1259810) with nearly 20 years of experience delivering high-end residential and commercial projects. Since joining Prime Group Management in 2014—building on a professional relationship with Rick Peña that began in 2005—he has led multiple signature builds from a 40,000-square-foot waterfront estate in Hillsboro Beach to a 13,000-square-foot residence on North Bay Road that sold for $72 million in 2024.
Matt previously held roles at CMC Group and Coastal Construction, working on landmark developments including the Epic Hotel & Residences, Grovenor House, and the historic Carl Fisher residence in Miami Beach. His steady coordination, deep field experience, and problem-solving acumen make him a trusted leader on PGM’s most complex residential projects.
Mark Canfield – Senior Project Manager

With over 20 years in the AEC industry, Mark Canfield brings a multidisciplinary perspective rooted in both architecture and construction. He practiced architecture for more than a decade in New York City, delivering over 3 million square feet of built work before transitioning into construction management roles throughout Florida.
During his tenure at Coastal Construction, Mark worked alongside Rick Peña and other future PGM team members—forming a collaborative foundation that continues to define the culture of the firm today. Mark is currently managing one of the most architecturally ambitious homes in the PGM portfolio, collaborating with a globally renowned design firm.
At PGM, Mark provides strategic oversight from pre-contract to post-occupancy, ensuring clear communication, operational continuity, and delivery aligned with the client’s highest expectations.
Isaac Pittman – Assistant Project Manager
Project Coordination | Construction Support | Financial Oversight
Isaac Pittman supports PGM’s project delivery through a hybrid role that spans assistant project management, construction coordination, and operations support. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mercer University, Isaac brings financial discipline and workflow efficiency to every assignment.
He has worked on a range of specialty commercial and residential projects, including sports and industrial facilities, and currently supports a 25,000-square-foot residence in the City of Miami. His responsibilities include design and jobsite coordination, permitting, reporting, budget tracking, and team support—ensuring smooth execution throughout the construction process.
Isaac’s professionalism, responsiveness, and adaptability make him a valued member of the PGM team.
